Happy Yorkshire Day – Proud to be a Yorkshire Business

Yorkshire business Eclipse Energy, based in the heart of West Yorkshire, is unashamedly proud of its Yorkshire roots. Today we are celebrating, not only being part of the UK’s largest (and best!?) county – but also everything we’ve been able to do to help and support the people of Yorkshire.

Eclipse Energy – A Yorkshire Business

Whilst wishing all our customers a very Happy Yorkshire Day, it is also a good opportunity to reflect on how Eclipse Energy sits within our community in Halifax and what we offer to the people of Yorkshire.

As a thriving, growing business, Eclipse Energy is proud to be boosting the local economy by offering a wide range of employment opportunities. We are also proud and privileged to be able to support other like minded local Yorkshire businesses. Especially many of our fantastic local charities in Halifax.

Here are just a few of the incredible local charities we have donated to over the past year, which we recommend you to research into and support if you can:

•Animal charity – RSPCA Halifax

•Men’s suicide prevention chairty – Andy’s Man Club

•Homeless, elderly, isolated and vulnerable people support charity – Focus4Hope

•Homeless charity – Happy Days UK

•Women’s support charity – WomenCentre Halifax

Supporting Vulnerable Customers in Yorkshire

Eclipse Energy’s commitment to supporting vulnerable customers has earned us the title of Vulnerable Customer Support Organisation of the Year. We identify vulnerable customers as low-income pensioners, those facing fuel poverty or those with disabilities and home care needs.

Up to 75% of Eclipse Energy North’s jobs in the last year have involved supporting vulnerable customers. Giving them access to funding for energy efficiency upgrades to their homes such as fully funded insulation and home improvement measures.

Furthermore, over the past year, our Renewables division has installed solar in the stunning Yorkshire region. We have saved a staggering 2,254 tonnes of carbon through domestic solar PV installations alone.

This is the equivalent to:

•planting a whopping 21,414 trees

•driving 2.077 million miles in a car

•or taking 2,322 long haul flights.

Eclipse Energy is proud to be a Yorkshire business

We are proud to support vulnerable Yorkshire customers. We are proud to support Yorkshire charities and even more so, we are proud to help Yorkshire reduce its carbon footprint. Helping to achieve a greener future and ensure Yorkshire stays as beautiful and inspiring in the future, as it is today.

Happy Yorkshire Day!
