Eclipse Energy, based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, is seeking skilled sub-contractor renderers to join our dynamic team. With a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience and a solid understanding of external wall insulation, the ideal candidate should be self-motivated, well-presented, and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in external wall insulation.
- Proficient knowledge and skills in the field.
- Self-motivated, well-presented, and efficient.
- High standard of workmanship.
- Own van and tools are a must.
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 required.
- Applicator cards for Wetherby and PPG would be advantageous.

Multi-Trade Operative
We are looking for multiple versatile and skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join our team.
They will be responsible for undertaking a variety of tasks related to different trades. This role requires a well-rounded individual with expertise in multiple areas, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle a diverse range of tasks efficiently.
At least one of the successful candidates will have specific experience in plumbing and the adjustments of pipework and removal and refitting of radiators and TRVs.
Responsibilities
Multi-Trade Skills:
- Perform a range of tasks across various trades and general maintenance.
- Handle repairs, installations, and maintenance projects in residential and commercial settings.
Problem Solving:
- Diagnose issues and determine the most effective and efficient solutions.
- Troubleshoot and address problems in a timely manner.

Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task.
- Provide detailed reports to supervisors and clients as needed.
Requirements
Versatility:

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Operative or similar role.
- Specific experience in plumbing is desired for at least one candidate.
Licenses and Certifications:

Project Manager
Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager, to work at our office based in Halifax.
This role requires a professional with a strong understanding of PAS requirements and expertise in general retrofit installation/construction. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing client relationships, overseeing subcontractor delivery and performance, and collaborating closely with the Operations team to ensure seamless project delivery.
The Project Manager must possess a combination of technical skills, leadership abilities, and personal qualities that contribute to their success in overseeing projects.
Key Responsibilities
Client and Subcontractor Management:
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and understanding of project requirements.
- Management of subcontractor relationships, overseeing their delivery and performance to meet project objectives.
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop detailed project plans considering PAS requirements, project scope, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Work closely with the Operations team to facilitate the execution of construction projects while maintaining office-based coordination.
Collaboration with Fabric Ops Team:
- Coordinate with the Operations team to align project execution with established standards and ensure a seamless transition from planning to on-site implementation.
- Provide necessary support and information to facilitate the successful completion of construction projects.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure that construction projects adhere to industry standards, PAS requirements, and client specifications.
- Monitor and enforce quality control measures, conducting regular assessments of undertaken work.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, schedules, and client/subcontractor communications.
- Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders, highlighting milestones, challenges, and solutions.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Experience of domestic retrofit industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Project Management qualification in PRINCE2, AgilePM, PMQ or similar.
- Familiarity with construction software and technology tools.

Electrician

Purpose of Role:
The role of an Electrician is being the point of contact for the business when electrical work is required within a customers property. This role is essential for the sign off of work that has been completed and to ensure that the job is legally safe in line with the correct certification required from the client.
Key Responsibilities:
– Re wire of customers property where required in line with the completed survey.
– Installation of extraction fans and lighting circuits within properties to allow for ventilation, connecting these up to the mains and testing before signing off if qualified to do so.
– Electrical connections for Air Source Heat Pump and Solar PV systems.
– Test and certify where applicable on other electricians work once they have completed their jobs.
– Document repairs and modifications to the property to relay back to the business for future reference.
– Diagnose and address any functionality and safety issues before raising with their line manager.
– Stay apprised of all changes and developments within the regulations of building and safety, feeding knowledge into apprentice electricians where applicable.
– Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
– Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
