Eclipse Energy have been shortlisted in the following categories:

  • Regional Small Scale Project (<250K) of the Year for St Augustine’s Centre
  • Regional Insulation & Fabric Installer and Contractor of the Year
  • Regional Solar PV Installer and Contractor of the Year
  • Regional Vulnerable Customer Support Organisation of the Year

The Regional Small Scale Project of the Year nomination is in recognition of Eclipse Energy’s work on the St Augustine’s Centre, a community centre in Halifax. Eclipse Energy installed a solar PV and battery storage system. This has helped the centre to reduce its carbon footprint and energy bills.

Secondly, the Yorkshire Energy Efficiency Awards have recognised Eclipse Energy for its excellence in insulation and fabric installation. Thirdly, they have been acknowledged for their solar PV installations. These nominations are a testament to Eclipse Energy’s commitment to providing high-quality and sustainable energy solutions to its customers.

Lastly, but perhaps the most significant nomination, is that of the Regional Vulnerable Customer Support Organisation of the Year. This nomination recognises Eclipse Energy’s dedication to supporting customers who are in fuel poverty. Additionally, this also includes those with various disabilities, in receipt of home care, and low-income pensioners. Eclipse Energy has undertaken significant work to help its staff understand the needs of vulnerable customers. Ensuring vulnerable customers receive fair treatment is at the forefront of their customer service activities.

One example of this is the company’s recent investment in mental health first aid training for its staff. This training helps staff to recognise and respond to customers who may be experiencing mental health issues. Ensuring that they receive the support and care they need.

A few words from Eclipse Energy’s Managing Director, Mark Bannister

Speaking about the nominations, Managing Director, Mark Bannister, said: “We are thrilled to have been named finalists in these four categories. It really is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team who are committed to providing the best possible service to our customers.”

“Firstly, we are particularly proud of our nomination for Regional Vulnerable Customer Support Organisation of the Year,” Bannister continued. “We believe that all customers deserve fair and equal treatment. And we have worked hard to ensure that vulnerable customers receive the same level of care and attention as everyone else.”
