The ECO4 scheme, launched by the government in 2022, is a grant program designed to assist households in making energy-efficient improvements to their homes. By qualifying for this grant, residents can benefit from a range of free services, including insulation (such as loft, floor, and wall insulation), first-time central heating, air source heat pumps, and solar panels.

Eclipse Energy have worked across the North of England installing energy efficient measures in homes, both domestically and as part of large government contracts. They are the main sponsor of Halifax Panthers.

In recent years they have emerged as one of Yorkshire’s leading businesses in the rapidly expanding energy efficient home improvement sector, where homeowners seek to upgrade their existing properties through measures such as new heating systems, insulation, and ventilation. Their renewable energy division, launched in 2021, has enabled the company to install the full suite of green home improvements, and resulted in them working with household names including British Gas and OVO Energy

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the ECO4 scheme, residents must reside in properties with an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of E or lower.
