Eclipse Energy Team Completes Mental Health First Aid Course

Our team at Eclipse Energy is proud to announce the successful completion of their Mental Health First Aid Course.

Ten dedicated colleagues have undergone comprehensive training to become certified Mental Health First Aiders. They are now equipped with the knowledge and skills to support their colleagues’ and customers’ mental well-being.

Mental Health First Aid Course 1

Mental health is such an important aspect of overall well-being. At Eclipse Energy, we prioritise creating a supportive and inclusive work environment. Recognising the increasing importance of mental health awareness, we took the initiative to invest in our team’s development by enrolling them on the course.

During the course, our colleagues gained valuable insights into various mental health conditions, learned how to identify warning signs, and acquired techniques to provide initial support to individuals in need. The training emphasised the significance of active listening, empathy, and providing a safe space for open and non-judgmental conversations.

By completing the Mental Health First Aid Course, our team members are now certified to provide immediate assistance and support to anyone. Whether that may be a colleague or a customer, who is facing mental health challenges. They can offer guidance, signposting to professional help, and ensure that individuals receive the care and resources they need.

Huge congratulations to our ten colleagues who are now fully qualified! We are all so proud of you.

At Eclipse Energy, we are committed to promoting mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and creating an environment where everyone feels supported and comfortable discussing their mental health.

Managing Director, Mark Bannister, said, “We are immensely proud of our ten colleagues who completed the MHFA Course. Their newly acquired skills and knowledge will undoubtedly make a positive impact within our organisation, allowing us to better support the mental health needs of our team.”
